I always bring homework to school with me so that I can do it in between my 1&1/2 hour break between classes, but I always end up zoning out on the net instead. I am a bad student.
I counted, and I only have...*recounting*...23 days of school left. 31 days until school is finished. Not including exams.
There is a Women of the Middle East film festival happening this week at school. Tonight I want to go see:
"Hollywood Harem's"
Looks at film clips from the 20s to 30s and examines the depictions of women of the east and how it has shaped ill-founded perceptions of Islamic women and culture.
"Women and Islam"
Discusses origins of the veil and women's right's witihin marriage, exploring women's roles through history and within contemporary Islamic society.
I am hungry.

Today I am ditching school for the first time this semester. I almost made it an entire month without skipping school. *sigh*
In order to legitimize my ditching school I have agreed to accompany my friend, ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) vequira, during her day in court. I have also agreed to yell loudly in the event of her losing her case or being mistreated by the judge for being a young person. Although the "young person" box on the speeding ticket wasn't checked off, so that shouldn't be a problem.

I am sitting in the computer lab at my university, waiting for math class to roll around. I am a tad frustrated because I left some important papers in my car that I need for registration purposes. My bf has my car and I left my cell at home, and I do not have a quarter to make a phone call.
Since when should humans have to pay money to communicate with each other? This is all part of the government's on-going strategy to cause war and despair that will lead to the inevitable demise of the main bulk of the human race, leaving only corrupt politicians to re-populate the planet.
There is a notice advertising bible study classes on the bulletin board in here.
I miss my web cam.

This is a friends only journal. I write mostly random things. I do not spend too much time bitching. I like Star Trek. I like to have fun. I like people who make me laugh. I like geeky people. I go to university and take anthropology. I like studying culture.
I don't like negative-ness. I don't like it when every other word in a journal is a swear word. I don't like people who are mean.
My journal is friends only because I don't like knowing that there might be obsessive psychos reading my journal. Especially ones who I know in real life. Feel free to add me as a friend. I will add you right on back. Unless you're an obessive psycho. Then I will not.
